Mostly Music in the Park on tap this summer

Live tunes will flow throughout Mercerdale Park in July and August as the city of Mercer Island presents its Mostly Music in the Park series.

The Thursday gigs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. will feature: Point of Sail (yacht rock) on July 11, Soul Proprietors (’60s and ’70s) on July 18, Harmonious Funk (greatest hits) on July 25, Catch a Wave (Beach Boys tribute) on Aug. 1, Restless Vocal Band (a cappella hits) on Aug. 8, The Jewel Tones (Motown trio) on Aug. 15 and Prom Date Mixtape (’80s new wave) on Aug. 22.

Presented by 4Culture, Mercer Island Community Fund, mioposto, Mercer Island City Lifestyle and Mercer Island Martial Arts.
