Aljoya Mercer Island will host the Mercer Island Farmers Market Garden Party from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 at its outdoor garden patio. The event is a thank-you gathering for generous market supporters.

The evening will feature an appetizer buffet, drinks and live music by Lulu Swing, an all-female, Seattle-based musical ensemble that specializes in 1930s hot club swing with a definitive French and Latin twist, as well as repertoire from the Great American Songbook.
