Mercer Island elementaries compete at 46th annual All-Island Track Meet

Island fourth and fifth graders square off at annual event.

Mercer Island fourth and fifth grade athletes clashed at the 46th annual All-Island Track Meet June 17 at Mercer Island High School.

Students from Island Park, Lakeridge and West Mercer raced in the sprints and relays and took to the field in shot put, long jump and softball throw competitions.

For the fourth year in a row, West Mercer was the meet champion with a team score of 430 points.

Lakeridge was runner-up with 334 points and Island Park was third with 302 points.
