Aug. 26

Fraud: A resident in 3300 block of 81st Place Southeast received a scam call about bitcoin transfer, knew it was a scam and did not suffer any financial loss.

Malicious mischief: A resident in the 3000 block of Island Crest Way had their vehicle keyed.

Vehicle prowl: A resident reported a vehicle prowling.

Aug. 24

Theft: A subject swiped cigarettes from a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast and departed the scene before police arrived.

Malicious mischief: In the 4500 block of 89th Avenue Southeast, someone smashed a resident’s vehicle window. There was nothing to steal inside.

Aug. 23

Vehicle prowl: Someone stole a wallet left in a resident’s vehicle in the 2600 block of 77th Avenue Southeast and fraudulently used the credit cards.

Aug. 22

Malicious mischief: Vandals destroyed 50 plants that the city recently landscaped at a former bike riding course in the 3000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 20

Burglary: Someone broke into a home under construction in the 3600 block of 86th Avenue Southeast.
