Festa Italiana set for Seattle Center Sept. 28-29

Gary Galeotti, of Mercer Island, will receive the Patricia DeLaurenti Award as Volunteer of the Year on Sept. 25. The award will be presented at a Festa Italiana luncheon sponsored by the Italian Club of Seattle.

The luncheon is part of  Festa Italiana, a community festival to celebrate the joy of “All Things Italian,” on Sept. 28 and 29 at the Seattle Center.

Highlights include a children’s area at the Seattle Center Pavilion, with a Kids’ Pizza Toss at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. each day.

Friday, Sept. 28 is, a wine tasting event, at the Seattle Center House/Armory, with 55 Italian wines, food and music.
