Islanders can take Hazard Mitigation Plan survey

The city of Mercer Island invites residents to take a King County-wide Hazard Mitigation Plan survey to suggest what kinds of projects the city should prioritize in updating its plans.

This feedback will be used to help shape the city’s annex to the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which will be presented to the city council later this fall before being submitted to King County for its review. The final annex to the plan will be part of the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan, which is submitted to the state and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
