Chabad Mercer Island menorah lighting set for Dec. 29

Chabad Mercer Island will present the annual public menorah lighting at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 29 at Mercerdale Park. This year’s celebration will take place on the fifth night of Chanukah. Along with the huge menorah lighting, there will be festive music, latkes and doughnuts and a chance to connect with friends old and new. “Celebrate Chanukah with light, joy and community at Mercerdale Park. Each flame adds warmth and unity — yours included,” reads a Chabad MI social media post. For more information, visit www.chabadmercerisland.org/menorah
