The Mercer Island fastpitch team earned a second straight win, beating Garfield 12-1 on Friday, March 15.

The Islanders had 12 runs off of 14 hits and two errors, while the Bulldogs had one run off of five hits and four errors.

McKenna Pellerin was 3-4 at the plate, with two runs, three RBI, a triple and a home run. Teammate Morgan Peyou was 1-4 at the plate, hitting a home run. She scored two runs with two RBI.
