The Mercer Island wrestling team took fifth place last week at the Decatur Invitational, held at Jefferson High School in Auburn, Wash. Two Islanders wrestled in championship matches. Knebel Colton took first in his weight division (215), defeating Thomas Reinhart of Kent-Meridian, 4-0. His teammate, TJ Blackburn, also took first in his division (275) in a closely contended match by decision (6-5) with Tyler Black, of Redmond, taking second, 6-5.
