On behalf of IslandVision, a community nonprofit focused on achieving sustainable prosperity on Mercer Island by addressing the human actions that are contributing to global climate change, we thank the Community Fund for helping support Leap for Green, an Earth Day fair scheduled for April 13 at the Mercer Island Community Center from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Community Fund enables us to educate ‘kids of all ages’ about what is happening and how they can make changes to their daily lives to minimize their impact on the earth while increasing their community impact. This year’s focus, “there’s no place like home,” spotlights goods and services that are available on the Island. Thank you, MI Community Fund!
