As the Town Center Visioning process nears an end, the February Chamber of Commerce luncheon will be an opportunity for members of the business community to give their input about the future of Mercer Island’s downtown.

The program will feature a panel of Ellen Miller-Wolfe, Island resident and economic development officer for the city of Kirkland; Karen True, Alliance for Pioneer Square and previously with Crossroads Mall and Third Place Books; Morgan Shook, analyst for EcoNW and economic consultant for Town Center, a member of the Visioning Commission and a representative from the city’s Development Services Group. Peter Orser, an Islander and director of the Runstad Center at the University of Washington, will moderate the panel.

The luncheon will be at noon on Feb. 4 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center. For reservations, call the Chamber office at 206-232-3404 by Tuesday, Feb. 2. The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
