Katherine Cleveland and Joshua Heron, both of Seattle, are engaged to be married in September at The Golf Club at Newcastle.

Ms. Cleveland graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with a master’s degree. She is a 1996 graduate of Mercer Island High School. She is employed as a physician’s assistant in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery. She is the daughter of Thomas and Deborah Cleveland, of Mercer Island.

Mr. Heron graduated from Cascade High School in 1995 and has a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University. He is employed at The Hardford. He is the son of William and Linda Heron, of Mill Creek, Wash.
