The Mercer Island Police Department is hosting another prescription drug drop-off event on Oct. 29 at City Hall.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall, people can drop off expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs. The event is free and anonymous.

The same day,  Communities That Care will be offering free prescription medication lock boxes for anyone dropping off medications at the event. Those interested are encouraged to arrive early as there is a limited number available.
