Tyler Faith and Cornel Van Zyl were married on March 27, 2010, in Cape Town, South Africa. The groom graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2002 and the University of Washington in 2005, and is currently an archaeology Ph.D. candidate at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The bride is the daughter of Jan and Liz Van Zyl, of Klerksdorp, South Africa, and is a graduate of the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein. The bridesmaids were Sanet Snoer, of Bloemfontein, South Africa; and Jeanne Cattell, of Bristol, England. The groomsmen were Parker Faith and Alex Faith, of Mercer Island, brothers of the groom, who is the son of John and Lynne Faith, of Mercer Island. The couple will be making their first home in Washington, D.C.
