Peter Davis Builders recognized

Mercer Island-based Peter Davis Builders Inc. was among 50 remodeling companies selected nationwide by Remodeling Magazine with a 2005 Big50 Award. The company was featured on the cover of the May 2005 issue of the magazine.

“I’m grateful for all the wonderful clients, dedicated employees and other associates who have helped us create successful projects,” stated Peter Davis, founder and president of the firm, in a press release. “It’s been fun to participate and have a role in building homes that meet peoples’ needs.”

Following a lengthy evaluation process, the editors of Remodeling selected 50 remodelers who exemplify the best of the industry. Winners are selected in categories such as business savvy, fine design, industry impact, market-wise, “movers and shakers,” niches, sales and marketing, and teamwork.

A native of Bellevue, Davis lives on Mercer Island with his wife Kristiann and two daughters, Kaia and Osta. Peter Davis Builders Inc. has remodeled and built new homes for 24 years.

The awards were presented at the Remodeling Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., on May 20.

Philipp named partner at law firm

Adam L.K. Philipp was named a partner June 1 of the Hallisky Law Group, P.L.L.C. in Seattle. The new name of the firm is Hallisky & Philipp.

The firm continues its practice of providing technology and entertainment clients with legal services. Hallisky & Philipp is located at 1725 Westlake Ave. N., suite 150, Seattle, WA 98109.
