My grandchildren attend the International School in the Bellevue School District. It is rated 11th in the nation for its academic program and student achievement. It is housed in an old building, older than Cherry Crest Elementary School which was just torn down and rebuilt. The old building has not negatively affected the students’ learning. Rather, they have excelled.
I agree wholeheartedly with Kyle Huber, Mercer Island High School junior. He raises some very good points and suggests that we get some student input, which has not been done so far. After all the schools are for the students.
