We are pleased to announce that the Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department is the recipient of a 2017 Mercer Island Community Fund (MICF) grant. The MICF has supported this community and our department for many years. The generous grant of $15,800 supported the Mercer Island Arts Council’s Music in the Park, the annual Summer Celebration parade, Leap for Green Sustainable Fair, and the field renovation project at Island Crest Park. The $10,000 granted from the MICF for the field renovation was essential to move forward with the project.

The MICF is a vital partner to the Parks and Recreation Department, and with their financial support we can continue to offer events, programs and facility improvements to our community.
