Putting a building in Mercerdale Park, Bicentennial Park, the recycling center and the native garden beside the Skate Park would destroy the visual connection between Mercerdale Park and Mercerdale Hillside Park, and really encroach on the green connection. I would like to see most of the parking area pavement from the recycling center removed and landscaped naturally. Has the city answered the following questions: How would putting a building there affect the landfill under the park? Would more methane gas be released?
