Thank you, MICF

As summer comes to an end, we would like to thank the Mercer Island Community Fund (MICF) for supporting high-quality youth development programming at the Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club.

With MICF’s support of our Summer Brain Gain programming, local kids were able to keep their academic skills sharp while also participating in traditional summer camp activities. Whether playing a game at the Club or exploring new places on a field trip, kids engaged in reading, writing, math, and social-emotional curricula daily. This helped our youth avoid the learning loss that typically occurs during summer break. As a result, on the very first day of school, Club kids will be ready and able to take on new material and move forward—starting the new year off right!

So, thank you, MICF, for supporting local youth and setting them up for a successful return to the classroom. We appreciate your support.
