To commemorate a year on Mercer Island, Eat Local/Performance Kitchen Crafted is having a special all-day event Sunday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Per a business release, employees will be handing out samples throughout the day of cake, pie and ice cream, as well as new dishes from its Junebaby line at the Island location.

In line with COVID-19 (coronavirus) health mandates, staffers will be wearing masks and gloves; samples themselves will be individually packaged (and passed out using a tray) to take home.
