Mercer Island High School celebrated Homecoming on Oct. 6. Before the football team took on Redmond, the MIHS marching band, cheerleaders and class floats paraded through Town Center.
The MIHS Islanders defeated Redmond, 31-7.
The Grand Marshal of the 2017 Homecoming Parade was Leela Mathur, the “duchess” was Lynn Adsit and the “duke” was Parker Bixby.
