2009 MIHS Homecoming parade brings students, families to celebrate Island tradition

An Island family takes a closer look at the winning float entry by the MIHS Class of 2014 during the annual downtown homecoming parade on Friday evening. The freshman class brought home the first-place prize after a week’s worth of competition, sealing their win with a giant ice skate float decorated in the 2010 Winter Olympics theme.
