Tuesday, May 29, was Senior Awards Night at Mercer Island High School.
The Mercer Island Community Scholarship Program awarded $500 scholarships to 28 exceptional students, selected by MIHS faculty. Each scholarship recognizes outstanding attitude, effort and achievement by a student in a particular curriculum area. The scholarship must be used by each student to further his or her education.
This program is funded through community contributions and the sale of Graduate Grams, and sponsored by the Mercer Island PTA Council.
