This week, the 2021 Boeing Classic golf event kicks-off at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.
The Boeing Classic tournament week tees off Monday, August 16, with the Seahawks Rumble at the Ridge, which features a handful of competing NFL hall-of-famers and Seahawks and Sonics legends like Steven Hauschka, Detlef Schrempf, Ben Obomanu, Sidney Rice and even Elbert “Ickey” Woods, creator of the “Ickey Shuffle.”
Following that event is the Korean Air Pro-Ams on Wednesday and Thursday. The Boeing Classic begins competition on Friday with the Qatar Opening Ceremony and will include the Boeing Jet Flyover.
The tournament event is set to be broadcast on the Golf Channel.
As the tournament continues on Saturday, Aug. 21, there will be the First Tee Seattle Putting Championship, and following the final round of the Boeing Classic on Sunday, there will be a champion trophy ceremony.
Single day tickets start at just $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Public parking, which includes shuttle service to and from the course, is $10. Tickets can be purchased through the Boeing Classic website here.
Funds raised by the event will benefit the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
“We are ready and looking forward to welcoming fans back for the 2021 Boeing Classic,” said Tournament Director Brian Flajole via press release. “This tournament has become one of the great traditions for the Puget Sound region. But it is also a significant charitable endeavor for Boeing and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health to impact the community. We are proud and excited to again host the players, fans, supporters and volunteers at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.”
