THEFT: A locked bicycle was reported stolen from the bike rack at the North Mercer Park and Ride at 5:26 p.m.
Dec. 8
PROWLING: A vehicle was prowled overnight in the 2600 block of 77th Ave. SE, and an iPad, backpack, aviation headset and personal documents were stolen.
Dec. 9
BURGLARY: At 9:02 p.m., a house in the 2700 block of 64th Ave. SE was entered and ransacked. About $25,000 in cash and items was reported stolen, along with thousands of dollars in interior damage to the home.
Dec. 10
DUI: Police conducted a DUI investigation in the 5600 block of E. Mercer Way at 4:06 a.m.
SCAM: A woman in the 3000 block of 60th Ave. SE said at 8:45 p.m. that she received an email from a man stating that she had to send bitcoin to him to avoid a contract on her life. She said she believed it was a scam, but wanted it documented.
DUI: A woman said that she and her husband got into a verbal argument, and that he had taken her keys and left in his pickup after drinking. Officers stopped the vehicle in the 2400 block of 76th Ave. SE to investigate the key theft, and said there was an odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. The driver performed voluntary field sobriety tests, submitted to a PBT, which read .125, and was arrested for driving under the influence.

CAR THEFT: A vehicle was reported stolen from a driveway in the 7700 block of N. Mercer Way overnight.
PROWLING: A suspect broke the rear window of a vehicle in the 2400 block of 76th Ave. SE, and entered and searched the vehicle. Nothing appeared to have been taken. The incident was reported at 4:19 p.m.
DRUGS: A vehicle was impounded in the 8400 block of SE 68th St. at 5:56 p.m. for violating the uniform controlled substance act.

MAIL THEFT: A victim in the 7400 block of 85th Ave. SE reported at 1:30 p.m. that their mail had been stolen.
