One week after taking the Washington Rush Cup, girls U15 soccer team Eastside FC White won the gold division at the Mt. Hood Challenge, which took place Aug. 8-10 in Oregon.

Islanders Jennifer Bernardez and Kendall Riley helped their squad go undefeated throughout the tournament, allowing one goal in four games. In the final, Eastside FC White shut out FC Salmon Creek Nemesis, 2-0.

Eastside FC White includes Chloe Young, Karly Stokes, Sarah Lewis, Joelle Tudor, Taylor Thatcher, Ruby Madrone, Jamie Kim, Keelin Dillon, Caylee Gilberg, Carly Tudor, Marisa Mestichella, Priya White, Mackenzie Crandall, Maddy Favour, Taylor Montgomery and Islander Paige Robertson. The team is coached by Porter Lombard.
