Mercer Island boys swim suffered its first team loss of the year, falling to Eastlake 97-89 Tuesday, Dec. 9 at Mary Wayte Pool.
The Islanders had top finishers in four events. Ian Caldwell won the 50 free, finishing in 22.32 seconds, while Ben Dixon had the top score in the diving event at 224.85. Oliver Hoff won the 100 free with a time of 50.19, and the team of Drew Fukuda, Hoff, Joseph Li and Caldwell won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:19.25.
Next up for Mercer Island will be a home meet against Inglemoor at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Mary Wayte Pool.
