Brown brothers lead at Aspen Camp in Colorado

Islanders Connor Brown and his brother, Aidan Brown, participated in the Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Colorado.

The Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing held its fifth session of summer camp last month in Snowmass, Colo. The mission of the camp is to provide enriching educational and recreational experiences for those who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Islanders Connor Brown, below, right, and his brother, Aidan Brown, below, left, participated in rafting, hiking and other outdoor activities with other campers.

“Connor was our comedic camper, making sure all spirits were high during our backpacking expedition, with his jokes,” said Max Wilding, a camp leadership counselor.

“Aidan was a ‘pro’ basketball player while taking on other campers in a game of pool basketball,” said counselor Colton Jannusch.
