The rain stopped just in time for the annual Lil’ Ones Egg Hung at Mercerdale Park on Saturday, April 3. With baskets and bags in hand, Island children, ages 1 to 6, raced to find plastic eggs filled with goodies. Older children got their chance to search for eggs later that evening at the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt. Both events are put on by Mercer Island Parks and Recreation.
