Ofc. Jennifer Franklin, Emergency Manager / Crime Prevention Officer of the Mercer Island Police Department, today announced the release of a new neighborhood preparedness program for Islanders. The program is called “Map Your Neighborhood.”  This program helps neighbors get prepared for disasters and or events. It also works as a neighborhood block watch which assists neighbors in preventing and reporting crime.
