The city will expand the hours of the Mercer Island Community and Event Center by opening its doors once again on Mondays beginning April 4. At that point, the facility will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday and closed Sundays.
“Staff have been hard at work preparing the facility for increased activity while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment,” according to the city. The center is located at 8236 SE 24th St.
