The city has released its second community survey for the Climate Action Plan (CAP) to ask about community priorities. The city will then examine the specific actions it and the community could take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and/or improve climate resilience.
Because the city strives to be both statistically valid and inclusive, it is conducting the survey by mail paired with an online option. During the week of Sept. 26, the city mailed surveys to 2,500 randomly selected households.

An analysis of responses should be completed in November, and the city’s current schedule plans for a presentation to city council at its Nov. 15 meeting.
