After a suspected shoplifter was spotted bolting from Walgreens while clutching three bottles of top-shelf tequila on Saturday afternoon, police officers chased him down and placed the man under arrest.

During the short foot pursuit near the store in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street, the suspect “attempted to evade officers by ducking around buildings and crouching between vehicles, but was quickly apprehended,” according to the Mercer Island Police Department.
