Residents can get to know members of the Mercer Island Police Department (MIPD) from 8-10 a.m. on Nov. 12 at the south end Starbucks, 8415 SE 68th St.

On Aug. 20, six members of the MIPD force met with about 50 residents at the two-and-a-half-hour Coffee With a Cop gathering at one of the downtown Starbucks shops to answer questions and hear concerns.
