The Mercer Island City Council will hold two public hearings at its regular meeting at 5 p.m. Nov. 17 as part of the 2021-2022 biennial budget review.
The first public hearing will be on the levy/rates for the 2021 fiscal year: property tax levy, water utility rates, sewer utility rates, stormwater utility rates and EMS utility rates. A second public hearing on the final 2021-2022 biennial budget is also scheduled; its adoption is anticipated at the regular meeting on Dec. 1.
