Crews respond to fire in Town Center

According to the city, firefighters from Mercer Island, Bellevue and Eastside Fire & Rescue are currently on scene of a Town Center commercial fire in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street. All occupants of the building were able to evacuate, according to the social media post at about 2:10 p.m. The city is asking residents to avoid the area as crews respond.
