Mercer Island Communities That Care Coalition presents Dr. Megan Moreno of Seattle Children’s Hospital, Adolescent Medicine, will speak about her research regarding the influence and meaning of substance use displays in social media.

She will share lessons learned with parents and discuss some of her team’s research findings to date. Her recent book:  Sex, Drugs ‘N Facebook is designed to provide guidance regarding internet safety to adults who care for teens.

The presentation is at 6:30 p.m., tonight, Nov. 6 at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center. It is free.
