On April 4, Jen Dean became the new chief executive officer of the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce.

For the last three years, she worked as the director of operations and events for the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce.

She moved to the Pacific Northwest three and a half years ago from Columbus, Ohio, and lives in Kirkland with her husband, Kenneth, and their boxer/lab mix, Samuel. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and a great cup of coffee.

“I am most excited to bring creative ideas and fresh vision to the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce, to support, enhance and grow the business community,” she said.
