Oct. 16

Malicious mischief: After graffiti was found and documented on school property in the 8200 block of Southeast 78th Street, the area was repainted.

Fraud: A subject used a victim’s social security number to open a cell phone account.

Oct. 15

Theft: In the 3800 block of 97th Avenue Southeast, a suspect was spotted on camera intruding on the property and stealing a flag from a flag pole.

Oct. 14

Fraud: An employee at a business in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street received a fraudulent phone call from someone impersonating a boss, advising the employee to break into the company safe.

Oct. 12

Vehicle prowl: A subject broke into a vehicle and stole a wallet left inside in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Oct. 11

Fraud: It was reported that a victim’s home address in the 8400 block of Southeast 46th Street is being used as a drop site for fraudulent deliveries. Multiple, third-party pick-up and delivery service people are frequenting the victim’s home to collect packages not ordered by the victim.

Oct. 10

Vehicle prowl: A subject smashed a passenger side window and swiped a purse left inside in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Theft: In the 7700 block of Southeast 34th Street, a vehicle was captured on camera pulling into the Thrift Shop parking lot and stealing donation items. Police later spotted the vehicle and the subject(s) returned the items to the store.
