The Mercer Island Police Department and the city’s Healthy Youth Initiative are coordinating with the Drug Enforcement Administration to offer a free, anonymous, in-person drug disposal event for National Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday at City Hall.

People can walk or drive up to the loading dock on the west side of City Hall and staff will properly and safely dispose of the medications dropped off. To protect the safety of staff and volunteers, people are asked to mask up and practice social distancing.
