Feb. 5
FRAUD: A victim’s credit cards were used at the Chevron on Sunset Highway at 8:46 p.m. after being stolen in a car prowl in Bellevue 20 minutes earlier, for a loss of $20.13.
Feb. 10
PROWLING: A man’s unsecured car was prowled in the parking lot of his apartment complex in the 7600 block of SE 27th St. at 9:54 a.m. There was no damage to the car, but a Zune music player and a pair of Koss headphones were taken.
Feb. 11
BURGLARY: An Island man reported an attempted entry into his vacant home between Feb. 8 and Feb. 10 in the 7800 block of SE 40th St. at 2:10 p.m. Four screens had been removed from the windows and placed on the side of the house, and one window was pushed in, but no entry was made.
THEFT: At 7:30 p.m., a suspect emptied liquor into another container and left a store in the 3000 block of 78th Ave. SE with it, for a loss of $28.99.
Feb. 12
DEATH INVESTIGATION: A 60-year-old woman with cancer died at 7:29 a.m. in the 3000 block of 60th Ave. SE. A DNR was in effect.
BURGLARY: At 1:11 p.m., a victim reported that their mother-in-law residence in the 2100 block of 76th Ave. SE had been entered, and basic household items were taken.
Feb. 13
PROWLING: An unlocked vehicle was prowled in the 3200 block of 73rd Ave. SE at 7:07 a.m., and electronics were stolen.
FRAUD: A victim in the 8700 block of SE 45th St. reported at 11:40 a.m. that a bank account had been opened in her name. She believed it was possibly a result of the hacking of the Catholic Archdiocese years ago.
THEFT: An Island woman in the 5300 block of W. Mercer Way said at 2:09 p.m. that someone may have stolen some cell phones she was shipping back to T-Mobile.
DEATH INVESTIGATION: A subject was found deceased in a vehicle parked at the North Mercer Park and Ride at 6:38 p.m.
