Enchanting Mongolian concert set for July 21

The Mercer Island-based ZJE Mongolian Music Ensemble — Temuujin, Temuulen and Anu-Ujin Batbaatar — perform a traditional Mongolian tune at the recent AANHPI (Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander) student showcase at the Newport Yacht Club in Bellevue. ZJE will perform a free concert from 7-8 p.m. on July 21 at the Old Fire House Teen Center, 16510 NE 79th St., Redmond. “Immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of traditional Mongolian music, where captivating rhythms and soul-stirring vocals will transport you to a world of cultural richness,” reads a press release.
