Mike Flood will discuss “The Seahawks and the 12s” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on Aug. 15 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 pm. Guests are always welcome.

Flood, Seattle Seahawks vice president of outreach and external communications, is a Seattle native who served as a pilot in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years. He has received the “Outstanding Service to Veterans” award from the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, and “I Care About Kids” award from Mentoring Works Washington.
