Mercer Island High School (MIHS) will be hosting a Future Islander Night in the commons area from 5-8 p.m. on Jan. 25.
Mercer Island School District Superintendent Dr. Fred Rundle and MIHS Principal Nick Wold will give opening remarks at the event, during which parents of current Islander Middle School students and other high school-age students — and families living on Mercer Island but not enrolled in the local school district — can learn about classes, curriculum, programs, school groups and athletics.
The commons doors will open at 5 p.m. and the event will promptly kick off at 5:15 p.m. with the marching band drumline leading families into the gym for a video presentation.
