Do you have a nature lover in your family? Someone you would like to honor? The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department is offering a unique gift for this holiday season — tree donations in Luther Burbank Park.

Started in 2010, the Grove at The Source landscape sculpture features three species of trees, planted in rows radiating from the spiral mounds. The Grove is able to accommodate 10 more trees, for a donation of $500 each.
