I’m from North Bend and was visiting the [Mercer Island] Farmers Market on Sunday when my car keys accidently fell into the storm drain right next to where people were standing in line for pizza. A gentleman who had just finished a jog in the park with his dog came by and, without hesitation, offered to go in after my keys. He dove in head first with two adults holding him by the feet, and after a couple of tries, he came up with wet hair and my car keys! It was such a nice moment; a gentleman volunteering to help a stranger. It made everyone feel good. Thanks again to a good guy who saved the day!
