Mercer Islanders graduate from Seattle Pacific University, the University of Montana and the University of Rochester.

Laura Catherine Meserole, of Mercer Island, has graduated with a Master of Education in School Counseling from Seattle Pacific University.

Lenore Anne Woodley, of Mercer Island, has graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University.

Janet Eichler Moore, a 2008 graduate of Mercer Island High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor’s in political science and a minor in history, has been accepted into the Masters in Teaching program at Seattle University.

Samantha Ariel Rogel, of Mercer Island, a 2008 graduate of Mercer Island High School, graduated in the field of communications from the University of Montana in June. She was named to the dean’s list. Rogel was also recognized for her outstanding work as a “Peer Advisor,” as well as for her work at the School of Music, where she worked to supplement her academic scholarship. Rogel is the daughter of Lori Goldfarb and Scott Rogel.

Cailin R. Henley, of Mercer Island, graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., on May 20 with a Bachelor of Science in cell and developmental biology. She graduated cum laude. Henley is the daughter of Connie L. Davis and M. Bradford Henley.
