Eastside FC Red wins Rimland Pacific Cup

Islanders Katie Pedersen, Ella Hendelman and Caley Newcomer helped their girls U10 soccer team Eastside FC Red win the Rimland Pacific Cup tournament this past weekend in Bellingham. Eastside FC Red went undefeated through five matches and allowed only one goal throughout the tournament. In the final, Eastside FC Red defeated the Issaquah Gunners, 5-0.

Seattle/Lake Washington Open Water Swim Sept. 6

Join swimmers of all ages and skill levels for the Swim Across America: Seattle Open Water Swim in beautiful Lake Washington. Choose either the 1/2 mile or 2 mile option. Proceeds from the swim will support cancer research, prevention and treatment at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. All swimmers raise money to support the cause.
