Robert Horton will discuss “Highlights and Lowlights of the Oscars” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s April 5 meeting.

Horton is a member of the National Society of Film Critics and “Historian-Programmer in Residence” at the nonprofit Scarecrow Video Project. For many years he was film critic for the Seattle Weekly and the Everett Herald, for 20 years a weekly guest on KUOW, and a regular contributor to Film Comment.
