Islander tennis players earn All-KingCo honors | Prep boys tennis

Following the team’s KingCo tournament win this week, several Mercer Island boys tennis players earned All-KingCo recognition.

Freshman Brandon Wong was named league MVP, while Chris Elliott, Jake Bethards and Caden Conder were named to the All-KingCo second team. Jarod Wong, Christian Anderson and Ben Bethards earned honorable mention.

Mercer Island placed first at the 2A/3A KingCo tournament Oct. 19-20 at MIHS. The team will have three doubles teams and one singles player compete at the district tournament in May.
